- To display your matrimonial profile to eligible registered Devangar members according to partner preferences.
- To compute accurate 10 Porutham horoscope match scores and horoscope compatibility charts.
- To authenticate candidate identity via phone calls, SMS OTP verification, and document screening.
- To send relevant match recommendations, interest notifications, and security alerts.
3. Mobile App Permissions
When using our official Android or iOS mobile apps, certain features require device permissions. You can enable or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings:

Used solely for the "Near Me" match discovery feature to calculate approximate city distances. Real-time background tracking is never performed.
📁 Storage & Photos
Allows you to select and upload profile pictures, horoscope images, and verification documents directly from your device gallery.

Exclusively used during login and registration to automatically fill one-time verification passwords (OTPs) for enhanced speed and security.

7. Profile Deactivation & Right to Erasure
When a member finds their life partner or wishes to withdraw their registration, they can easily deactivate or permanently delete their profile from the My Account section.
Upon verified deactivation, your profile photos and contact details will be immediately hidden from search listings and permanently deleted in accordance with data retention standards.
